Horo is Roland's next digital grand concert piano. It advances digital pianos by using electrostatic speaker technology that is wrapped around the piano. This technology allows for the piano to be heard in 360 degrees around the piano with no distortion. The electrostatic system also allows for the piano to take on new unique form that accentuates the ability of digital pianos. Electrostatic speakers systems do lack the ability of bass which is why subwoofers were built into the custom bench. The keys are extended in length to give the pianist the feel of the weighted keys of an acoustic piano.
